Man I think I officially suck at posting that is for sure! But I just wanted to give a quick update on my life as of late!

In January I celebrated my birthday and started up school again. My birthday was so great and always is, even if I don't do anything! I love it. Then I started up school. This was going to be my second to last semester before I applied for the Occupational Therapy Assisting program but I decided to just keep going and do my pre reqs for the actual therapy program, so I have quite a few semesters to go!!!

In feburary I have just been dating like CRAZY, and now I am kind of dating someone again and it is sooo fun! I am doing work and school, so that pretty much takes up my WHOLE life, I have been so busy with work and cross training over into PACU, and school because math just officially sucks! I hate it, and it has been taking over my life lately! Well that is pretty much it, I am pretty boring I know, so that is why I don't post very much! When more things get exciting I may post later haha!!! Hope everyone is doing well, with the wonderful thing called LIFE!!!! much love!! :)

So much to be thankful for!!

Well since it's been a decade since I have posted I will share what is on my mind! I have a lot on my mind so prepare yourselves!!!! I apoligize in advance as well, that my camera charger is lost, so I can't charge my camera to get the pictures on the computer! So this will just be a post full of words!!!!
Alright since today is Thanksgiving I though today might be a great day to express what is on my mind and what I am truly grateful for in my life. I just want to start off with my parents, they have sacrificed so much for me in my life, it is truly un real. I don't know how I got so blessed to have parents that have done so much for me health wise, physically, emotionally, and mentally. Even though we have our MAJOR differences and points of views, I don't know where Iwould ever be without them. They have been through so much with their kids as far as physically, and emotionally, I don't know how they do it. I hope I have the strength they do one day when I am a mother.
Second I am truly greatful for those families that have TRULY loved me for me, despite my faults and problems that I may have. I am so grateful to these families that have invited me in their home and had me as apart of their family. It's amazing how you find out how much someone knows you when they do something for you because they know that it will make you happy! Half of the families that have "adopted" me in to theirs just know that I have struggled with my own family and they know just how much I love being around people, and the "family" enviroment. I love those families more then anything, they know who they are. There have been families that honestly I feel like I have been walked all over, and just kinda there because I chose to go over. I have learned a lot from those experiences and those families but I am grateful for the ones that have stuck by my side through thick and thin!
I am truly grateful for the friends that I have. There are friends that I have had for a life time that once again love me for me, and for who I am, and not for what I do or say. I have learned so much from these people and from their examples. I don't know where anyone would be if they didn't have friends, and I have been truly grateful for the TRUE ones that I have made in my life.
I am defenitely eternally grateful for the gospel, I really have no idea where I would be without it. It has brought me happiness where I KNOW I will never ever find anywhere else. I am so grateful for the teachings and convinents. I am grateful that I have something to follow in my life, and to have someone that will always love me no matter my looks, bad days, good days, faults, mistakes, e.t.c. I know that when I got baptized four years ago it was the best descion I have made in my life thus far. I love the gospel more then anything int his world. Even though it has brought some major termoil in my life I know that one day it will all work out the way its suppose to!
I am very grateful for the experiences that I have had in my life to make me the person that I am today. I am grateful for the relationships that I have been in because they have helped me know what I want in my future life, and what I dont want. I am grateful for the surgries that I have gone through because they show me how fragile life is, and that we should NEVER EVER take it for granted. I am grateful for the emotional challanges that I may have gone through in my life because like I said before it has made me the person I am today and just made me feel so blessed for the wonderful life that I have been provided!
Anyway that is my thankful post there really is SOOOO much to be thankful for, especially the little things like my job, getting an education, the warm house that my parents provide, a car to drive to get from here to there, a warm bed, medicine, doctors, and sooo much more! I love the life that I live and I love where I am at today. I have learned SOOO much in my life already and I can't wait to learn a lot more as I live my life. Happy thanksgiving everyone, I hope that it is a good one for you and that you got to spend it with those that you love!!!!

I know probably absolutely no one reads this but hey it's kinda nice to write what your feeling and get peoples feedback right! Haha

So I think that it has been along time since I have last blogged, oh wait no it's been FOREVER!!!!!!!!! So here I am trying to catch up on the last couple months of my life!! But just so you know it is a long post with lots of pictures so just prepare your self!!! Also I am a little bit retarded when it comes to blogging and I cant figure out how to move my pictures around and enlarge them so this what you are gonna get. Also one more thing sorry bare with me but it is going to be for the most recent happenings in my life to the oldest so here it goes!!!

I got accepted into Salt Lake community College and I will be starting May 18th with summer classes and I seriously can not wait because then I am that much closer to my career, which I am going into Pediatrics Occupational Therapy Assisting!! I seriously can not wait for this I will graduate in 3 years!!!!!

So last month Devin and Vanessa, the cute love birds invited me to go to a Jazz game so of course I gladly accepted that offer especially with how close we were to the court... But funny story actually Devin only had two tickets but the seat next to them is always empty so we thought it would be clever to buy a ten dollar ticket that was up in the nose bleeds and then I would just sit in that empty seat.. Well come to find out there is SOMEONE SITTING THERE.. so we were like great!! Well there were four empty seats in the row in front of them so we sat in those and it turned out great!! We obviously took a lot of pictures and some of them are crazy because we were just messing around! Thank you so much for taking me Vanessa and Dev I had a blast and I love you both! This was my third Jazz game I went to a ton this year!!!!

So back in March I went on a little road trip with my Lovely friend Shannon and her son Preston.. I guess it wasn't so little because we had to drive a total of 36 hours!! Now you are wondering where we went.. We drove out to Missouri because Shan's family lives out there and she needed a second driver to keep her company so I was like hey I will tag along so I did and it was an absolute blast! It was def a culture shock to me in a since that I have never stayed on a farm in my entire life.. It was very different to have to drive 20 minutes to just get to the city. I fed some cows and enjoyed LOTS of movies!!! Shan and I became really close and I really grew to love her family like my own I love them a lot!!! Once again i apoligise my pictures are from the end of the trip to the beginning!!

This was the drive home, I think that was harder than the drive out there because we were so exhausted and both times we drove through the night 18 hours!!!

So her family lives on a farm and they have this pond in the backyard and Shan and I decided to get their little paddle boat and take it out for a spin!

So out there you have to drive like 20 minutes to get into a city. So we decided to go into Springville and visit a place called Bass Pro (its a bigger version of Cabella's) It was fun we took a lot of crazy pictures!

They have like the largest Snapping turtle on display there it was huge!!!!

This was the first day we got there Shan and I were so exhausted we only got like 2 hours of sleep so we were just lazy all day. Well Sheena (Shan's) sister came over and they were listening to music on their lap tops so I felt a little left out so I of course I had to grab mine and they had to teach me how to use it cause I didn't know how.. gee thomas!!!

So right before I left to Missouri I got a new car!!! It is a 2008 Nissan Altima!! I absolutely love it!!!! My other car was really breaking down and the repairs were just going to cost more money than the car its self so we traded it in! I am not gonna lie I miss my little roxy car because it was me, but I love this car a lot more!!!!

Well there ya have it! That has been my Life in a nutshell the past 2 months!! It is amazing how many things can happen in one month or two months, or even four! I love where I am at today and I wouldn't wish anything else!!! I am so excited for this summer and to be starting school and living life!!! Also a couple of my closest friends are getting married or going on missions! Kara is getting married May 16th, Ashley is getting married June 19th, Chels is leaving on her mission May 6th and Chase is leaving on his mission July 1sth!! I am so excited for these guys and I could be happier for them!!! It will be weird to have my closest friends going different directions and I will miss them like there is no tomorrow but I am so excited for them all!!!

Darth Vader.. What?

Ok so I just need your guys opinion for just a moment.. Now this post isn't for you to feel bad or give me sympathy or anything like that, all I need is your opinion. So all growing up in school I basically was made fun of for my breathing and I basically was called DARTH VADER ya thats right DARTH VADER most of my life.. Funny huh, I thought it was... Well it bugged me at first but then I got used to it.. Well Obviously as I have grown up I haven't heard the "DARTH VADER" phrase for quite sometime now. Now people just ask if I am sick, or ask "whats wrong with you" you know all those fun questions!! I love it!!!
Well today I was watching "my" cute little kids and this morning the oldest, Case asks, "Sammie, do you want to play star wars?" So of course I said yes!! Why wouldn't I want to play star wars with those stinking cute kids. So we start playing and case is naming off who I will be, who Paige will be, and who lucy will be. Well I bet you cant guess who Case said I would be, yep thats right DARTH VADER... Oh my word I started to laugh so hard... I couldn't believe I hadn't heard that name in so long. But the best, to top it all off he was like, " Sammie you are going to be Darth Vader because you sound just like him." Holy cow it caught me off guard.. So my question is do I really sound like Darth Vader?? If I do well how awesome is that!! I guess I will be a famous person with my "very loud" breathing (according to Case and Paige.) I absolutely love little kids, they have such sweet innocent comments!! Can I just tell you I absolutely love my job.. I would do anything for those little things!

Tribute To My Best Friend!!!

I just wanted to write a little tribute to my best friend Kara who got engaged a couple of nights ago!!! I am just doing this because it is huge we have been friends for about 12 + years and it is crazy that we are this point in our life! All growing up we would ALWAYS talk about who we would think we both would marry and what type of guy we would end up with. Kara and I basically lived with each other growing up, we were with each other almost about 24/7. We fought more than anyone that I have ever met in my entire life but yet I have never been closer to anyone in my life.. We literally fought like we were sisters.. Because she basically is my "sister" just from another mother :)We actually finally ended up being roommates for a couple months and we were hesitant about it because usually you fight with your roommate like crazy especailly if it's your best friend. That is actually when we became the closest in our whole friendship and it just has been amazing ever since! I am so excited for her and and I am so excited that she is marrying such an amazing guy. Todd treats her so well and Kara deserves that more than anything. Todd is completely amazing to her, and it makes me so happy to see her so happy! They are the cutest couple and I am not just saying that cause she is my friend but they literally are perfect for each other and they will have beautiful kids!! I am so grateful that she has been such a huge part of my life and for sticking by me through some of the hardest times in my life.. We have been through thick and thin with each other and have such a special friendship that cant ever be broken. I am so excited for the future for when we both have kids and our kids can be friends. Kara I just wanted to tell you I am so happy for you and I cant wait to share this special day with you , the one we have been waiting for all our lives!! I will be a wreck thats for sure!! I love you Kara and thanks for being the most amazing friend/sister to me!!! CONGRATS GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My parents: They have done so much for me and my brothers I love them so so much and I dont know what I would ever do without them... They are completely amazing!! I love you mom and dad :)

My Brothers: They are so awesome to me! I truly love them, even though I dont really show it I love them so much and I am greatful for what they do for me..

Kara: We are basically just sisters from another mother. She has been my best friend for 13 years now (wow that is so long) I have loved every minute of our friendship! I dont think anyone knows me better then she does, she knows everything even to this day, I go to her for everything. I love her so much and she has been through LITERALLY everything me, I am so excited to be best friends with her for eternity. I love you so much Kara!

The Martins: This is the family I am currently taking care of. All I can say is I am so truly blessed to have found them. Not only do they provide me with such an amazing job, but with such an amazing friendship.. I dont know what I would ever do without Shannon, I truly love her so much!! She has already done so much for me and I have only known her for like six months! Thanks for everything I love you guys!

The Ostlers: This is the family I used to nanny for 8 years, then their kids just got to old! I love them so much, they have done so much for me and will always be like second parents to me!! I love them so much and greatful for what they have done especially through the hard times that I had, they were always there for me!!!

So here is the cute family that I take care of. I have pictures of the two little girls but I only watch the little boy for an hour, because then he goes to school, so I dont have any pictures of him yet. But these kids are such sweethearts, I have truly been blessed with having them in my life.. These little girls teach me so many new things everyday. We have so much fun, going to the park, playing tag, playing with dolls, watching movies, eating, and running around! They parents are some of the nicest people I have ever come across in my life. The mom (shannon) has become one of my best friends, I tell her everything and just love chatting with her, her and I click SOOOOOOOO WELL!!! I dont her husband (Jared) very well but from what I have met he is the nicest guy! Anyway here are some pictures that I took today right after our little walk we went on! I Am Finally Recovering!!!

So I am finally recovering from sweat surgrey that I had last tuesday. Can I just tell you it was one of the most painful surgries I have ever had!!!! They made three cuts under my left arm and two under my right. They then put little clips on my sweat gland so that I dont sweat as much as I used to! Yah for those of you who knew me well knew how NASTY my hands were, they were always so wet and sweaty, it was so GROSS. Oh and you cant forget how sweaty my armpits got... it just all around was gross!!!! They also put chest tubes in me, cause they collapsed my lungs, and that was probably the most painful part of the surgrey those things kill, and those are what is taking so long to recover!! My back is bruised from them where they cut me open.. for my surgrey only being a week and a half ago I am recovering very very well!!!! MY HANDS ARE DRY!!! yah I love it!!!! any way enough of that!!

Hyperhydrosis and reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD) are two disorders with a common cause and treatment. Hyperhydrosis is a commonly noted as sweaty palms and feet. Patients generally note increased sweating in the palms of their hands, feet and possibly also in the trunk.
RSD is a painful condition involving one or more of the extremities. Both of these conditions result in an overactivity of the sympathetic nervous system. The sympathetic nervous system generally controls the "fight or flight" activities of the body. Treatment for both hyperhydrosis and RSD is injections or surgery. The surgery is a minimally invasive, transthoracic endoscopic sympathectomy. Our results have been extremely positive and most patients leave the hospital the following day.

So a little bit of sad news I actually dropped out of school! (ok that makes me sound like such a lazy bum.) Well I got so so far behind from surgrey and my teachers were all jerks about it. Also my books that I was waiting for still hadn't come in yet... CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT, 4 WEEKS into school and they still haven't come in! What the heck!! So I got so far behind with not having any of my books it just all fell apart! Also I will tell you the truth, this is the second time that I have tried going to school and it just didn't work out.. School is just really not my thing, I guess. I was talking to to my mom about it and I was just so frustrated that I am 20 years old and till haven't gone to school. She made me feel so much better about it, she said school is just not for everyone and that there is nothing wrong with it. So I felt a little bit better, it just frustrated me that I didn't have an education, and I know how important it is to have one, but it really is just not for me.. Lol I also complained that no guys would ever date me cause I didn't have an education. My mom laughed so hard at me and said, "Sammie, if guys aren't dating you because of that, than they are not worth it." I laughed and felt better about the situation once again. So I decided that I really wanted to do physical therapy in some way. So I found this awesome m.a.t.c program to be a physical therapy assistant. I am so excited, I am probably gonna try and do that in January! So we will see if I can get through it, lets at least hope hahahah! With the rate I go with school I probably wont, but we will see!!!

One last thing, I GOT MY BRACES OFF TWO WEEKS AGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can I just tell you how amazing it is to have straight teeth! Man I love it!!! I will get pictures up soon, sorry I just haven't been taking pictures lately so they will come soon!!!!

Let the Fall Life Begin!!!

The fall life has officially begun!!!! I started my nanny job a couple of weeks ago and I love love it!! I take care of a family that lives in my stake. They have a 7 old boy his name is Case, a 3 old girl named Paige and a 1 year old girl named Lucy. They are the cutest kids ever and I just love them to death!! I watch them in the mornings on Monday, Wensdays and Fridays from 7:30 to 1 then on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 to 11:30 then go to school from 1 to 5. I love it and am so blessed with the family that I am watching they are so great!

I also started school at UVU last Thursday. This is my first time at college, well kind of.... I finally decided to go to school even though school is NOT my thing one bit, I just dont have the brains nor the patience!!! But I go on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 5:15. I am taking Geology, Sociology, and Psychology. So only 9 credits and just generals, but hey at least I am going right?! I do like it though its defenitly different!

So just this past Friday I got a MicroLaserPeel on my face. I had the worst acne, (sorry to tell you so much info) and scarring and so I needed to do something about it because nothing else was working. Man can I just tell you guys it is the weirdest thing ever. They first numb you face and you lay under a light for about twenty minutes. Then you go into this room and they get a laser and laser your acne and scarring. It smells so nasty, it smells just like burning flesh CAUSE IT IS!!! They burn the first or second layer of skin off depening on how many microns they do. After they are done they get a mirror and show you your face. Holy cow I was gagging!!! I had ash and dead skin all over my face and it stunk so bad (SORRY SO GRAPHIC) and it was so raw, red and it was burning like crazy. The worst is they have to get a towel and rub off all your skin and it hurts so bad cause you skin is so raw. After they are done they rub vasoline on your face and you have to wear the vasoline for 3 days straight and always re applying it... Its a pain but it will be so worth it. Your face is swallon and red after for awhile but then it goes down. My face is actually doing really good now. Its about three days and all the dead skin is starting to sluff off. After a couple of weeks it will be so clear!!!!! I cant wait!!!!

So one last exciting thing that is happening this week is.............. I GET MY BRACES OFF ON WED!!!!!!!!!!! I will post pictures! I am so excited I have had them since my senior year of highschool! almost 2 and 1/2 years!!!!!!

I think I am going to officially try and post a real post with pictures. I am going to start off with this summer! Wow where did the summer go? I cant believe it has already been here and now its gone. I had quite the summer.. I didn't work this summer because I ended up having to get surgrey at the beginning of the summer, which didn't quite go so well. So during the summer I got to just relax and basically do nothing. I really soaked it up while I could (and i know some of you are probably saying holy cow that girl is lazy.) Well the main reason I didn't end up working is because I was waiting for another surgrey but the insurance would not pay for it so we had to sit here and write all these letters to them to get them to pay for it. Well FINALLY by the end of the summer aug 10th they finally decided that they were going to pay for it and that the surgrey would be sep ninth! Gee there went my whole summer waiting for that dumb surgrey when I could have been out making mula!!!!!!
My family also went camping together this summer!!! It was so much fun to be able to just spend time with my immidiate family and play with my adorable nieces. My parents bought a fourwheeler this summer so we took that. Can I just say one day I will own one of those I love them!!!!

So that was at the beginning the summer. In July one of my best friends Kristin Kujanpaa got married to her next door neighbor Ben Wade. She was the first of all our friends to get married. Gosh she looked amazing it was such a beautiful day and her reception looked amazing! Congrats Kristin I am so happy for you and I love you!!

These are probably my favorite people in the whole world. This is my bishop and his wife Marci, and my best friend Kara and her boyfriend Todd. (Aren't the trees beautiful, gosh her reception was gorgous!) Here is the cute couple cutting their cake! Here are the five girls that grew up together! Daniele, Kara, Kristin, Mallory and Me!! Gosh I love these girls, it's weird to have one of them be married now! Only four more to go, and I will probably be the last lol!

So as the summer ended our family went on one last trip. We went to our family reunion up to Hidden Springs Ranch. It is about twenty minutes away from starvation resovoir. The cabin we stayed in was huge!!!!!! It was beautiful! It was so fun to see all my aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents after not seeing some of them for three years!!

This was the huge pool in the backyard of the cabin, it was so fun we swam in it like three times a day!!!!
This is my cute little cousin Aiden. I think he has got to be the cutest little boy that ever existed!!! I love him to death!!!
Here is a picture of my grandparents and their kids (my aunts, uncles and dad) this actually almost all of my dads family right here just missing a few.

These are almost all the little kids that were there, my cousins, second cousins, and nieces. They are all so dang cute I love them!!!!!

Our family got into an intense game of spoons one night. When I say intense I mean intese, there was blood and crying and all. But everyone had so much fun though!!

This is what the main level of the cabin looked like. Is it not the prettiest cabin you have ever seen!!! ITS HUGE!!!!!

Ok so downstairs there were eight bedrooms like this and each room had 8 beds looking this, so there were 64 beds total. HUGE HUH!!??? There was also a game room downstairs with a Ping Pong Table, Fooseball and Air hockey!

Also in the basment there were two bathrooms, a girls and guys. This is what they looked like they had 5 stalls and 5 showers. This is just the basement!! Upstairs on the third level there were 6 master suites with their own bathrooms!

That was basically a sum up of my amazing summer I had this year, it was so awesome to spend so much time with my family, because family is everything to me and I love them so much! Sorry this post was so stinking long but I wanted to give you as much detail as I possible could lol!!

Well you guys I think I am slowly starting to figure out this blog situation even though I still dont understand alot of it! So if any of you smart people can help me I would love that!!! Well Alot has happened and I want to add pictures and stuff with what has happened lately but I am not sure I can do that without making this blog make no sense, because the pictures would probably be everywhere, but I am gonna give it a try... this is just going to be a test post lol!
